佛山地区血浆重金属水平与肺癌的相关性分析

【摘要】 目的了解中国广东省佛山市肺癌患者血浆中钒、铬、锰和铁4种重金属含量与肺癌发病的关系。方法留取196份肺癌患者及93份正常人血浆样本,采用电感离子耦合等离子体质谱法(ICP-MS)检测钒、铬、锰和铁4种重金属含量,分析血浆钒、铬、锰和铁等重金属水平与肺癌发病的相关性。结果肺癌患者血浆中的铬、锰浓度均高于对照组(P<0.01),铁浓度高于对照组,但差异无统计学意义,P=0.258;钒浓度则低于对照组,P<0.01。这些重金属的血浆水平与性别、肿瘤的临床分期、EGFR基因突变情况、吸烟状态均无关;钒含量与病理类型相关。通过Logistic回归分析,锰为肺癌发病的危险因素,而钒为保护因素。结论血浆钒、铬、锰、铁浓度可能在肺癌的发病中起一定的作用,其中锰、铁为肺癌发病的危险因素,而钒可能为保护因素。

【Abstract】 OBJECTIVE This study aimed to investigate the relationships of plasma cadmium,lead,molybdenum,and antimony with the occurrence of lung cancer in the city of Foshan,Guangdong Province,China.METHODS The plasma specimens from 196 lung cancer patients and 93 normal humans were collected to measure vanadium,chromium,manganese,and iron by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS),and the correlations of their plasma concentrations with lung cancer were analyzed.RESULTS The concentrations of chromium and manganese in the plasma of the lung cancer patients were higher than those of the control group(P<0.01),the concentration of iron was higher without significance(P=0.258)while the concentration of vanadium was lower than that of the control group(P=0.000<0.05).The plasma levels of these heavy metals were not correlated with the gender,clinical stage,pathological type,or epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutation status of the tumor,or smoking.The vanadium concentration was correlated with pathological type.According to the logistic regression analysis,manganese was a risk factor and vanadium was a protective factor for lung cancer.CONCLUSIONS The plasma concentrations of vanadium,chromium,manganese,and iron may play a role in the pathogenesis of lung cancer,with manganese a risk factor and vanadium a protective factor.
