【Abstract】 Firstly,this paper puts forward the problems in modern college foreign language teaching; then,based on Systemic Functional Grammar,the meaning of register is put in order based on a discussion of the relationship between context,register and text; thirdly,a contrast between first language and foreign language development is carried out from the perspective of ontogenesis; fourthly,it reveals the organizing function of register in college foreign language education from the perspectives of the goal of foreign language teaching,design of teaching tasks,process of foreign language teaching and authenticity of foreign language teaching,etc. in the relationship of system,instance and instantiation.更多还原
