高校学困生和学优生家庭背景比较调查研究——以江苏省某重点大学计算机学院为例
Comparative Investigation on the Family Background of Chinese College Students with Learning Disabilities and with High-achievement:Taking College Students in School of Computer Science and Technology in One National Key University in Jiangsu Province
【摘要】 家庭背景对大学生学业成就的影响是教育学科经典的研究思路,也是需要长期持续关注的议题。研究将家庭背景分为家庭经济收入、父母职业、父亲社会声望和家庭所在地四类,以江苏省某重点大学计算机学院为例,重点分析和比较家庭背景对大一年级学生学困生和学优生的学业表现的影响。结果表明,家庭经济收入对学业成就有显著影响,但父亲社会声望和家庭所在地与大学生的学业成就并无显著相关关系。因此,今后的高校学困生转化工作的重点之一是关注家庭经济困难学生。
【Abstract】 The impact of family background on academic achievement of college students is a classic research approach of educational subject,and a topic needing long-term concern.In this study,family background consists of family income,parents’ occupation,father’s social prestige and home location.The authors take the School of Computer Science and Technology of a national key university in Jiangsu province as the case,analyze and compare the impact of family background on academic achievement of the freshman with learning difficulties and high achievement.The results show that family income has a significant impact on student achievement,but there is no statistical significant correlation between father’s social prestige and academic performance,nor with home location.Thus,one of the priorities of the future work in transformation of college students with learning disabilities is to pay close attention to students from poor families.
