一种计算AIS基站信号覆盖率的方法

【摘要】 船舶自动识别系统(AIS)通过基站收集附近水域船舶航行数据,用于避碰、航迹追踪、搜救等,是海上交通安全的重要保障。为计算AIS基站的信号覆盖率,提出一种利用网格技术的GridCount算法。将水域网格化,选取目标船,获取其已发送AIS信号所占网格,计算单船已发送信号数量网格图;利用插值算法,计算目标船应发送AIS信号,获取单船应发送信号数量网格图;叠加不同船舶的已/应发送信号,形成多船已/应发送信号数量网格图;比对已/应发送信号数量,获取信号覆盖率网格频数图。利用GridCount算法,计算、叠加100 000张网格图,获取成山头AIS基站信号覆盖率,结果表明:AIS基站的最大覆盖半径为4.5 nmile,且信号覆盖率随到基站距离的递增而递减。

【Abstract】 Ship Automatic Identification System(AIS),which recordes ship navigation data through the base station for collision avoidance and path tracking,has been an important guarantee for maritime traffic safety.This paper,by post Grid Count algorithm,calculates the coverage of AIS signal.Through gridding waters according to certain standards,selecting target ships,calculating and summarizing its already-transmitted AIS signal in each grid,the already-transmitted AIS grid diagram of single ship can be made.Through interpolation algorithm,calculating and summarizing ship’s should-transmitted AIS signal in each grid,then the should-transmitted AIS grid diagram of single ship can be acquired.Overlying different ships already-transmitted AIS number and its should-transmitted AIS number,the already/should transmitted AIS grid diagram can be made.Divided alreadytransmitted AIS number and should-transmitted AIS number in each grid,the grid frequenxy diagram of AIS signal coverage can be acquired.Then the grid frequency diagram of AIS signal coverage can be acquired.The experiment uses AIS data from ships sailing in Chengshantou waters,the result shows that the maximum coverage radius of AIS base station is 45 nmile,and the signal coverage decreases with increasing distance from the AIS base station.
