【Abstract】 The Nile Metropolitan Delta is a one-semester project conducted by The Berlage Center in TU Delft. The research is led by Pier Paolo Tamburelli from BAUKUH(IT) and Oliver Thill from Atelier Kempe Thill(NL). The research-based design studio discusses the urbanization issues of the Nile Delta in Egypt. The article starts from the fieldtrip, and from which the process sheds light on a way of urban observation based on infrastructure. The mothodology in the studio envisions a new possibility for largescale planning. The Nile Metropolitan Delta project was exhibited in Rotterdam 2014 and Shenzhen Biennale 2014.更多还原
