【Abstract】 Memetics is,based on Darwin’s theory of evolution,a new theory revealing the law of cultural evolution. With the progress of society and the development of science and technology,English new words and expressions keep emerging and increasing with each passing day. This paper explores the generation of English new words in the perspective of memetics,with the view to helping English learners to have a better recognition of the law and characteristics of their generation and variation,and understand and master new words and expressions better.更多还原
