【Abstract】 The rape(Yucai Brassica chinensis var.oleifera) as a name of vegetable appeared in the works of Song dynasty in China,which was a variation of Peking cabbage,was planted mainly among Zhejiang and Jiangsu as well as other provinces in southern China.Bird rape(Yuntai Brassica juncea) means originally might be a vegetable that with shape likes mustard,which was asserted as rape since Li Shi—zhen’ s "Ben Cao Gang Mu" in the Ming dynasty.After that,rape was asserted as bird rape too,both rape and bird rape became meant the same means gradually.Since the Ming dynasty,Chinese planted these two sorts of rape.更多还原
