混合级联多电平换流器型静止同步补偿器的优化设计
Optimization Design of STATCOM Based on Hybrid Cascaded Multilevel Converter
【摘要】 研究了混合级联多电平换流器型静止同步补偿器(HCMC-STATCOM)。对两电平换流器的直流电压和整形电路的模块个数进行了优化设计;对两电平换流器和整形电路的直流电容纹波电压进行了数学建模,为电容参数设计提供了理论基础;对HCMC-STATCOM与链式静止同步补偿器进行了对比研究,结果表明HCMC-STATCOM能够有效减少H桥的模块数目,同时能够显著减少储能电容的容量,有利于减少装置的成本及其占地面积。在PSCAD/EMTDC仿真平台上搭建了35kV/±100Mvar的HCMC-STATCOM仿真模型,仿真结果表明了HCMC-STATCOM拓扑结构的可行性和理论分析的正确性。
【Abstract】 A static synchronous compensator based on the hybrid cascaded multilevel converter(HCMC-STATCOM)is studied.The DC voltage of a two-level converter and the number of H-bridge sub-modules in wave-shaping circuit(WSC)are optimized.The DC capacitor ripple voltage of the two-level converter and WSC has been mathematically modeled to provide a theoretical basis for the parameter design of the DC capacitor.Comparison of the HCMC-STATCOM with the cascaded STATCOM shows that:the HCMC-STATCOM has less modules of cascaded H-bridge while appreciably reducing the DC capacitor capacity,which means the cost and size of the device will be reduced.A simulation platform of 35kV/±100 Mvar HCMC-STATCOM has been built on PSCAD/EMTDC.The results of the simulation have verified the feasibility of the topology and the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
