【Abstract】 The maturity and development of personality psychology revealed the integrity of personality and established personality depiction as an important criteria for character creation. It calls for the upgrading of character creation in novel writing from‘characteristic description’to‘personality depiction’. Only in this way can a piece of work become an enduring classic. The only way to achieve this state and realize well-rounded portrayal of characters is to follow inevitability as well as the four principles of character creation — commonization principle,individualization principle, stabilization principle and development principle.更多还原
