【Abstract】 Maf family proteins are a large number of transcriptional factors which include a characteristic basic region and a leucine zipper( b-Zip) motif. They play key roles in the hemacytopoiesis,pancreatic differentiation,and the lens development of eyes. However,the evolutionary process of Maf gene family is unknown. In this study,genome-wide survey of Maf gene family was performed,and chromosome location,gene structure,conserved protein motifs of Mafs were analyzed.
