【摘要】 本文是修订《新世纪汉英大词典》之后的回顾与思考,探索了修订大型汉英辞书的目标、原则和方法。从目前该类词典中存在的主要问题出发,我们将修订的目标确定为"助译"、"勘误"和"补新",并在这个目标的指导下探讨了该类词典修订中增、删、改的原则以及修订中所采用的具体方法。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper is a retrospective research on the revision of A New Century Chinese-English Dictionary,focusing on the objectives,principles and methods of unabridged Chinese-English dictionary revision. Based on the existing problems of such dictionaries,it specifies the objectives of this revision as"assisting translating","correcting errors and inappropriateness"and"increasing new items". Guided by these objectives,the paper discusses the principles of addition,deletion and correction in the revision process and puts forward some of the methods the revisers have adopted in the revision process.更多还原
