【Abstract】 Hollywood films play influential roles in the accommodation of the laws as to the protection of the homosexuality rights. The documentary film The Time of Harvy Milk in 1984,the film Philadelphia in 1993 and the film Milk give a powerful hand in the improvement and operation of the laws as to the protection of the homosexuality rights by use of the functions of films——informing; inspiring; emphasizing and influencing on audience through the personal glamour of the actors. The three great films also appeal to the directors to care for the social problems and to work hard for building a civilized democratic society with perfect legal system.更多还原
