并行工程与新产品开发绩效关系研究两大流派的划分与评述——基于动态能力理论的整合性框架
Two Schools of Study on Relationship between Concurrent Engineering and New Product Development Performance: A Systematic Literature Review and Conceptual Framework Based on Dynamic Capability
【摘要】 虽然并行工程已然成为一种流行的产品开发方式,而且多数研究都肯定了并行工程对企业新产品开发绩效的有利影响,但实践中并行工程的影响却相当复杂,完全有可能低于其他方式(如传统的瀑布式模式)的绩效。基于此,本文在总结相关研究的基础上、尝试性地把以往研究归纳为外部环境理论流派和企业自身理论流派两大分支,并进行了全面的文献回顾比较的评述,揭示了其优势与劣势。最后,本文从资源依赖理论出发,构建了全新的并行工程与新产品开发绩效的分析框架。
【Abstract】 Although concurrent engineering has become a popular way of developing new products, and most studies have affirmed the beneficial effect of concurrent engineering on new product development performance, the effect of concurrent engineering is a matter of complexity in practice, which is likely to be lower than that of other methods(such as sequential engineering). Upon this understanding, this paper summarizes relevant studies in this area, and conducts a comprehensive review of the literature by tentatively and comparatively categorize the previous studies into the school on the external environment and the school on the enterprise itself; the strengths and weaknesses of both schools are discussed. Finally, applying the dynamic capability theory, this paper builds a systematic framework to analyze the relationship between concurrent engineering and new product development performance.
