【Abstract】 To achieve the interoperability of equipments,the International Electrotechnical Commission issued a new international standard for substation automation named IEC 61850 standard. The benefits of this standard will be analyzed and the method to apply such merits in the development and implementation of the Substation Automation will be discussed. IEC61850 has been adopted to establish the power distribution system model. Simulating results show that the proposed communication method based on IEC61850 will meet the requirements of real-time control and the protection of the power distribution system.更多还原
