【Abstract】 Chinese Net Words from English,from the perspective of language contact,are the results of crosslinguistic cognitive processing and conceptualization.According to the Lexical Concepts and Cognitive Models Theory,the cross-linguistic meaning evolving course displays the meaning compositional mechanisms of selection and fusion,including integration and interpretation.The study holds that the different types of Chinese Net words from English result from the varying construal prominence and cognitive choices which are governed by the Cognitive Principle of Maximal Relevance.Furthermore the cross-linguistic meaning evolution uncovers the essential nature of re-lexicalization from English Net Words to Chinese ones.更多还原
