电化学法测定聚合物制品中的聚四氟乙烯含量
Determination of Polytetrafluoroethylene Content in Polymerproducts by Electrochemical Method
【摘要】 基于聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)在氧气中燃烧生成HF等含氟气体,溶于缓冲溶液后能转化为氟离子的特性,建立了利用氟离子选择电极测定聚合物制品中PTFE含量的电化学分析方法。根据对聚四氟乙烯/聚乙烯(PTFE/PE)混合蜡、PTFE改性工程塑料、PTFE改性轴承等一系列样品的测试,发现该方法不仅精确度高,而且可操作性强,在PTFE含量大于10%时,测量误差小于2%。方法非常适用于含PTFE制品的质量控制和未知样品的分析测试。
【Abstract】 Polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) can produce a series of fluorine-containing gases such as HF after combusted in oxygen and the gases can transform into fluorine ions when dissolved in buffer solution.A novel electrochemical method for determining the PTFE content in solid polymers by using fluorine ion selective electrode was established.According to the tests of a series samples of PTFE/PE mixed wax,PTFE modified engineering plastics and plastic bearings,this method was proved to be accurate and operable.The measurement error was less than 2% when PTFE content was more than 10%.The proposed method is suitable for the analysis of the PTFE-containing products,quality control and testing of unknown samples,and will play an important role in the industrial production and scientific research.
