【Abstract】 Nominalization is one of the important phenomena in English for Science and Technology(EST),but its comments from the perspective of Adaptation Theory are relatively sparse.From the perspective of contextual adaptability,this paper tries to find out the reasons of using nominalization in EST,and eventually concludes that using nominalization in EST is an important strategy which adapts objectively to stylistic features of EST and subjectively to the mental world of writers and readers.更多还原
