【摘要】 以《尚书》理雅各译本为研究对象,引入认知语言学中的认知映射模式,从其中的等价、变价、附加、还原映射四个维度展开,运用归纳和演绎等研究方法,结合《尚书》理译本特有的语言现象,验证该模式对《尚书》理译本翻译过程中文化传真的解释力。期望此研究方法有助于拓展认知映射模式的应用领域,加深译者对翻译过程的理解和认识,并给中国典籍英译研究提供一种新的研究视角和实践途径。更多还原

【Abstract】 This research takes James Legge’s version of Shangshu as its research subject.By introducing the mapping modes in cognitive linguistics which could be divided into equal-value mapping,value-shifting mapping,added-value mapping,de-mapping,and making use of the methods of generalization and deduction,it explores the explanatory effect of mapping modes applied to cultural fax in James Legge’s version of Shangshu based on its particular linguistic features.This research is a preliminary exploration in order to widen the usage of cognitive modes,deepen the translator’s understanding of the translation process and provide a new perspective and channel for Chinese Classics translation research.更多还原
