【Abstract】 Starting with the study of the status quo of the Chinese silk garments design and the research of traditional Chinese cultures in art design, the paper analyzes the importance of the traditional culture’s inheritance and innovation in modern silk clothing design. It proposes the point promote the inheritance by education and improve the design by innovation.
