【Abstract】 From the perspective of Chinese and English fact,the paper makes a contrastive study of Chinese and English "Adverb+Noun" in aspects of linguistic form,connotative meaning and pragmatic value.At the same time,similarities and differences between them are discussed.At last,the author penetrates into this phenomenon under the direction of the Theory of Clausal Government proposed by,Xing Fuyi and the conclusion has naturally been drawn: the cause of this phenomenon is that the most concise and fresh words are used to show the most abundant meaning.更多还原
