【Abstract】 Capacitation is an important physiological pre-requisite that enables sperm undergo acrosome re-action and fertilize the egg.At present,the mechanism of sperm capacitation is preliminary elucidated.The known changes associated with sperm capacitation include: plasma membrane reorganization,ion permeabili-ty regulation,cholesterol efflux and changes in the phosphorylation state of many proteins.Capacitation is regulated by both intrinsic and extrinsic factors,the effect of cholesterol,HCO3-,Ca2+and protein phosphory-lation play an important role during capacitation.更多还原
