Progress in the research on oxygen-induced apoptosis of alveolar epithelial cells and surfactant protein C、surfactant protein D in neonatal rats
【Abstract】 Inhalation of high volume fraction oxygen for long time can result in hyperoxia lung injury, which is an important factor leading to the occurrence and development of neonatal bronchopuhnonary dysplasia. The pathogenesis is very complex in hyperoxia lung injury.Several recent studies have demonstrated that apoptosis is an important histological features during high-oxygen-induced lung injury, which plays a very important role in its pathogenesis. The hydrophilic surfactant protein D(SP-D) plays an important role in host defenseand innate immunity of the lung.It has increasing evident that SP involves in the pathogenesis of many pulmonary diseases.
