二战后美国营利性大学的快速发展及其历史意义

【摘要】 营利性大学在美国高等教育体系中占有重要的位置。二战之后,营利性大学进入快速发展时期,联邦政府的补助与调控为营利性大学提供了良好的发展氛围,营利性大学的数量、招生规模增长迅速,办学的规范化程度不断提高。20世纪90年代以来,美国的营利性高等教育机构在所有制形式、校区数量和覆盖区域、颁发的学位等方面呈现出明显的多样性。

【Abstract】 Profit-aimed universities play an important role in the higher education in the USA.After the world war II,the grants and coordinations by the federal government enable the profit universities to increase the scale,enrollment,and standardization.Since 1990s,the profit-aimed universities become diversified in institutions,scale and ownership.
