【Abstract】 This article offers an analytical summary of the historical position,basic features and successful experience of the development of science and technology in Hunan from the time of primitive tribe to the eve of the foundation of the People’s Republic of China,discussing the historical staging of traditional science and technology in Hunan with its basic highlights.On the basis of the comparison of the developing process and features between China and the west,between Hunan and China as a whole,including the contrastive features of the speed and structure of different stages,it further discusses the causes for the backwardness of China’s modern science and technology versus the relative advance in Hunan.更多还原
