【摘要】 处理汽车与居住的关系是一个技术课题,更是一个文化主题。本文通过对"理想之城"上海浦江镇规划的解读,寻找其中的一些线索。

【Abstract】 Accommodating cars in an urban environment has been an intriguing challenge both technically and culturally for generations of architects and planners.Pujian New town in Shanghai made a new contribution to a wealth of"Idealistic solutions"in that effort.This paper traces the lineage of thoughts behind Pujian New town and studies how idealistic solutions will have to confront social and economic realities.
