采用永磁体预偏磁的高频功率电感设计方案
Scheme and Design on High-frequency Power Inductor With Magnet Pre-bias
【摘要】 随着功率变换器向高效率、高功率密度方向的发展,如何缩小高频磁性元件的体积越来越重要。但高频磁性材料的饱和磁密限制了磁性元件,尤其是大电流直流电感体积的减小。除了进一步开发高饱和的磁性材料外,应用永磁材料的预偏磁抵消电感的直流电流偏磁成为业界关注的热点。详细分析了目前的永磁体预偏磁方案,针对目前方案的不足,提出了新的永磁结构思路以及磁路参数设计要求,达到了增强电感器载流能力、减小体积、提高功率密度的效果,同时又能克服永磁体因高频涡流效应而过热及被冲击电流脉冲退磁的问题。通过仿真与样品设计及实验测量,证明了理论分析的正确性以及设计方案的有效性。
【Abstract】 With development toward high-efficiency and high-power-density of power supplies,how to reduce the sizes of magnetic components becomes more and more critical.Flux saturation of magnetic materials is a key problem to limit the core size reduction,especially for the applications to high current DC inductors.Using permanent magnet to counteract the DC flux produced by inductor winding current had become a research tendency,in addition to develop new magnetic materials with higher saturation property.Existed magnet bias methods and the inadequacies in high-frequency applications were discussed.Then a novel inductor structure with magnet was developed and its magnetic circuit design consideration was also proposed.The novel structure could not only increase the inductor’s DC current carrying abilities or reduce the magnetic component size,but also avoid the magnet of being over-heated by high-frequency eddy current effect and being demagnetized by rushing pulse currents.Field simulations,sample design and tests verifies the theoretical analysis and effectiveness in practical applications.
