【Abstract】 Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie and Brothers by Yu Hua are respectively regarded as the two writers’ representative works.One of the important themes both works reveal is found in the identities of the protagonists.By analyzing and comparing the counterparts of the two books,readers can have a clearer understanding of the motives of the two writers and the pursuit of identity by the intellectuals against the post-colonial and deconstructional background.更多还原
