【摘要】 嵌入式设备(如智能机)应尽可能地进入休眠状态以节约电量消耗。为此,提出一种Android平台休眠唤醒机制。通过分析Android操作系统的休眠和唤醒机制,基于双核架构智能机,设计适用于基带处理器(BP)和应用处理器的休眠及相互唤醒解决方案。测试结果表明,BP在休眠时的功耗远低于其正常工作时的功耗。

【Abstract】 Embedded devices,such as smart phones,should enter dormancy mode as far as possible in order to save power.This paper proposes a research on dormancy and wake mechanism.The mechanism of dormancy and wake up adopted by Android operating system is analyzed.Based on this analysis,it proposes the working mechanism and solution about how dormancy is implemented and how Baseband Processor(BP) and Application Processor(AP) wake up each other on dual-core smart phones.Testing results show that BP’s power consumption in dormancy mode can be reduced a lot with comparison to its normal working mode.
