【Abstract】 Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS) is a recently discovered post-transcriptional gene silencing.It is a new reverse genetics technique designed to rapidly characterize the functions of plant genes,which is becoming a powerful tool for the study on plant gene functions.The paper reviewed the discovery,mechanism,advantage,viral suppressor of VIGS and its applications in the researches on the plant gene functions as well as the plant virus-resistance.更多还原
