【Abstract】 The Chicago School was a very important part during the development in economics in last century.By the propaganda and education of "the price theory",it trained a lots of excellent economists who believed the free competitive market economy and used the neoclassic price theory to analyze practice problems.Gary Becker is the representative of the School.This study mainly introduces Becker’s biography and his academic contributions,at the same time,we can understand some characteristics and trends of Chicago school.At last,we will see current paradigm of economics after the Chicago’s theories and methods have been accepted by most economists.更多还原
