【Abstract】 According to Master Zhi Zhe(also known as Zhi Yi,538-597) of the Tian Tai Buddhist Sect in ancient China,the subjective "mind" and the objective "realm" are two complementary,concurrent and harmonious aspects of the world,rather than that one precedes,bears or contains the other.His integration of the "mind" and the "realm",as well as his literal expatiation on the relationship between the two in his statement of "Three Thousand Realms in One Mind",makes it possible for the two characters to be collocated into a new term and to be extended to other fields.Later,enlightened by Master Zhi Zhe’s statement,the famous Tang-dynasty poet Wang Changling(690-756) applies the term "Yi Jing"(lit.mind’s realm) to his literary theory.Thus the word "Yi Jing" is extended from Buddhist dogma to literature,in both of which it has presented the most profound,free and miraculous poetic pictures.更多还原
