稀土在废水处理中的强化催化作用及其f轨道的贡献
Catalysis Aggrandizement Effect of Rare Earth Compound on Sewage Disposal and their f Orbital Contribution to the Process
【摘要】 论述了稀土在各种废水处理过程中发挥的强化催化作用。展望了掺杂稀土化合物能降低TiO2能带宽度,从而可使TiO2光解材料在太阳光下分解水中有机物成为可能,也有望提高TiO2/O3/UV的废水处理能力;最后指出稀土在废水处理中能够发挥超过一般过渡元素的催化作用,关键可能就在于其f轨道在成键过程中所作的贡献。
【Abstract】 It was discussed that a rare earth(RE) compound exerts an aggrandizement effect on catalytic/assistant-catalytic degradation in sewage disposal process.Especially,it was stressed that RE can enable the catalyst TiO2 to decompose organisms of effluent in visible light such as sunlight due to decrease of the energy band width of TiO2.Finally It was concluded that the rare earth can play more roles than the general transition elements in wastewater treatment program,perhaps the key lies in the contributions of orbitals for bonding in the process.
