【Abstract】 Ecocare methodology is a subject of health maintenance,which focuses on human health and the relationship between the human body and its external environment using the modern ecological balance theory and the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).It is a combined reflection of the natural health principle of "Nature and Man in One",the holistic concept of "Body-soul Unity",the idea of "Disease Prevention" which means that disease prevention is more important than threatment assistance,and the methodology of treatment plus rehabilitation through healthcare,rest and nourishment,with treatment focusing on relieving both the secondary and primary symptoms.The core value of this system is the healthy attitude (Yangxin),i.e.,everyone should first adequately determine his/her own appropriate niche,which is crucial for health promotion and harmonious development.The core connotation of Ecocare is the balance of the body ecosystem to physiologically and psychologically achieve a relative balance between yin and yang of human tissues and organs,by removing disadvantageous factors,replenishing advantageous factors and adjusting body functions.The Ecocare theory will have great potential in clinical TCM,health care by Chinese medicine,and research and development of TCM health products,as well as in agriculture,gardens,landscape and leisure vacation designs for the demands of health-cultivation by Chinese Materia Medica.更多还原
