【Abstract】 Countering the United States’accusing China of under-evaluating the exchange rate of RMB,this essay argues that China’s act of stablizing the exchange rate of RMB does not represent manipulation,and that China is not a country manipulating the exchange rate.By putting pressure on China for the appreciation of RMB,the United States will neither gain anything for bettering its international balance of revenue and expenditure nor create more jobs for its people.The adjustment of the exchange rate of RMB should be an active one initiated by China on the basis of its own interest,not a passive one as a result of submission to foreign pressures.更多还原
