采用热管技术低压铸造铝合金摩轮的计算机模拟

Simulation on Aluminum Alloy Motorcycle Wheel Manufactured by Heat Pipe Technology and Low Pressure Casting

【摘要】 将热管技术应用到铝合金摩轮的铸造过程中,用热管代替冒口,满足补缩要求。用Procast软件模拟比较了采用不同冷却方法,以及用热管冷却时低压铸造铝合金摩轮的凝固过程及铸造缺陷。模拟结果表明,低压铸造应用热管冷却时铸件没有缩松缺陷,证明热管作为冷却元件是可行的。

【Abstract】 The heat pipe,instead of risers,is proposed to be used to meet the requirements of feeding in the casting process of aluminum alloy motorcycle wheel. The solidification process and casting defects of the low pressure casting wheel was simulated utilizing Procast software at different cooling ways and thermal pipe cooling. The simulation results show that there is no shrinkage porosity when heat pipe is used in low pressure casting. Hereby,it is feasible for heat pipes as cooling components.
