OBMI成像测井技术在西非深水区沉积研究中的应用
An application of OBMI imaging logging technique to a sedimentary study in the deep water area offshore West Africa
【摘要】 S区块位于西非深水区,水深300~1800m。深水钻井多采用油基泥浆,这给测井系列选择,特别是电成像测井带来了难题。利用OBMI成像测井技术在S区块开展了沉积研究,确定了地层产状、物源方向及水体能量大小,明确了区域沉积体系主要为深水泥岩沉积及不同规模的浊流沉积;结合弹性波反演砂体平面分布及连井剖面对比,分析了A构造浊流沉积水道物源供给的方向及所形成的朵叶复合体展布特征,为该区有利目标评价提供了依据。
【Abstract】 Block S is located at the deep water area offshore West Africa,with its water depth between 300 to 1800 m. The oil-basd drilling mud is usually used in deep water drilling,resulting in difficultis in selecting adaptable logging suites,especially adaptable electric imaging logging techniques. By applying OBMI imaging logging technique to a sedimentary study in Block S,the stratigraphic occurence,the provenance direction and the water energy are determined,and it is concluded that the regional sedimentary system mainly consist of deep-water mudstones and turbidite deposits with various sizes. In combination with the areal sandbody distribution of elastic wave inversion and the well tie correlation,the provenance direction of channel turbidite deposits and the distribution of formed lobe complexes are analyzed for Structure A,providing some evidences for valuation of favorable targets.
