高功率以太网供电技术综述
A Review of High-Power PoE Technology
【摘要】 以太网供电国际标准(802.3af)在2003年6月获得了通过,其允许将功率加载在以太网线上同数据一起传输,但是该标准容许的最大传输功率(小于12.95W)限制了以太网供电的应用。近年来高功率以太网供电标准(802.3at)被提出,其容许的传输功率接近30W,这一标准的批准将推动以太网供电技术得到进一步的发展。文中分析了高功率以太网供电技术的规范,讨论了以太网供电技术的最新进展,同时给出了一种实现高功率以太网供电的技术方案。
【Abstract】 International standards for power over ethernet,which were adopted in June of 2003,allows users to deliver power over ethernet cabling.However,the available power imposed by IEEE802.3af has limited the applications of POE.Recently,IEEE 802.3at standard,called High-Power POE,has presented,which allows the transmission power close to 30 W.The approval of this standard will promote the POE technology to develop further.In this paper,the technical specifications of the High-Power POE are analyzed and the latest progress of POE is discussed.A implementation programe of High-Power POE is given.
