【Abstract】 After exploring three "ideal types" of rural marriage payment practice, the author found that rural marital payment practice is undergoing a change from marital reimburses to marital subsidization and mutual affinal benefits. The change reflects the vicissitude of social structure and culture. The author has analyzed this rural social transformation from three aspects: the change of old-age support from son’s single-handed support to son and daughter’s co-support, the shift of emphasis from the development of family relationship to the development of affinal relationship, and the increasing awareness of sub-generation right under the declining father power.更多还原
