【Abstract】 The mainstream of global FDI flows has transferred from traditional markets to emerging markets since the newcentury. In recent years,the service industry of the Pearl River Delta has become more and more attractive to FDI as a result of the booming of energy industry. Through conducting a panel data analysis of the data from 2003 to 2008 related to the service industry of seven cities in the Pearl River Delta,the paper studies the major influencing factors for the development of its service industry and the effects of FDI on its economic growth.更多还原
