【摘要】 The past twenty years have witnessed the rise of the Chinese American literature in America. Seeking culture identity remains a perpetual theme in Chinese American literature. Gish Jen is on her way to redefining typical Americans and she labels the entire "minorities" as the active participants of the construction of American culture.
