【Abstract】 Metal foams,as a new-type porous sound-absorbing material,have been developing rapidly in recent years.It has a three-dimensional interconnected structure,which is made of continuous or non-continuous gas and metal.Therefore it brings about excellent absorption properties.Metal foam can be used in many fields,especially in our working and military fields.The sound absorption properties of metal foam have been reviewed in this paper.The detailed description for the sound absorbing foamed metals has been given,which covered the manufacture process,structural characteristics,sound dissipation mechanisms,the impact of its acoustic properties of the factors,and applications.更多还原
