新型混合DPWM方法及其实现
A novel Hybrid DPWM Strategy and its Implementation
【摘要】 数字脉宽调制器(Digital Pulse Width Modulator,简称DPWM)是数字控制开关电源的核心。在DPWM的实现中,存在DPWM分辨率与系统工作频率之间的矛盾。提出了一种新型混合高分辨率DPWM方法,该方法利用现场可编程门阵列(Field Programmable Gate Array,简称FPGA)中数字时钟管理(Digital Clock Manager,简称DCM)的倍频及移相功能、高频计数比较模块及数字"抖动"方法,在系统硬件工作频率为32MHz,开关频率为1MHz的条件下,实现了11位的DPWM分辨率。论述了各模块的原理及实现方法,并给出了基于Virtex-IIFPGA的仿真和实验结果。
【Abstract】 Digital PWM(DPWM) is known as the crucial module for digitally controlled switching mode power supply. There is a contradictory between the resolution of DPWM and the system frequency.This paper proposes a novel hybrid DPWM Strategy,which combines frequency-multiple and phaseshift by digital clock management (DCM),a fast counter/comparator block and a dithering approach.The functions of all blocks are described,the simulative and experimental results based on a Virtex-Ⅱ FPGA prove the performance of the proposed DPWM.
