【Abstract】 Due to the outbreak of avian influenza around the world, the Chinese traditional spice star anise has demonstrated its important medicinal value because it contains an important component against the avian influenza virus.This paper reviewed the research on chemical components of star anise(Illicium verum Hook.f.) and their pharmacological activities,including the extract Shikimic Acid and its separation and extraction technique.The information provided is to serve as a reference for utilization of the resource of star anise.更多还原
