【Abstract】 In this article the progress and achievements of directional solidification are reviewed.The principle and characteristic of the directional solidification technology is briefly introduced and the advantage and disadvantage is reviewed.It is a process of improved temperature gradient and promoted cooling rate from the aspect of directional solidification technology evolution.The applications of directional solidification technology in solar grade silicon material preparation are introduced and the problem and the trends of developments is discussed.更多还原
