【摘要】 清末徐绍桢任新军第九镇统制时,上奏清廷论述实行征兵制的好处,并率先在第九镇推行,使第九镇面貌焕然一新,战斗力大为提高,号称"南洋劲旅"。同时,革命党人假征兵制而源源不断地进入第九镇,革命风气迷漫全镇。徐绍桢因此与革命党人有所接触,同情、提拔、重用、保护革命党人,最终在辛亥革命高潮时毅然起义,统率江浙联军攻克南京。更多还原
