一种四通道PMC宽带数字接收机的设计与实现

【摘要】 介绍了一种通用宽带四通道数字接收机PMC背板的设计与实现。该设计用ADI公司的AD6645(14 bit,80 Msam-ple·s-1/105 Msample·s-1)作为模数转换器件,采用专用DDC芯片ISL5416和StratixII系列的FPGA级联的结构,用PCI9656作为PCI接口芯片,板卡为标准PMC板型。文中给出了板卡的原理结构和性能指标的测试结果等。实践表明,该数字接收机具有精度高、使用灵活、处理和互联能力强等优点。

【Abstract】 This paper presents the design and realization of a general purpose wideband four channel digital receiver board based on PMC standard. The design uses AD6645 (14 bit,80 Msample·s-1/105 Msample·s-1) supplied by ADI company, employs the cascade form of StratixII FPGA with the ISL5416 Four-Channel Wideband Programmable Digital Down Converter (WPDC), applies PCI9656(66 bit, 66 MHz) as the data exchange IO accelerator between the PCI bus and the local bus, and the card is a standard PMC board. The paper gives the fabric of the board and test results of its performance. Through lots of applications and experiments, it is verified that the digital receiver board has the advantages of higher precision, easier for using, higher capability of digital signal processing and higher ability to link with other boards.
