【Abstract】 It has become a common knowledge among most managers that no decision can be made without statistics. Why do managers attach so much importance on statistics? In today’s enterprises, most tasks and works can be measured by statistics. Managers are using statistics to evaluate the subordinates’ performance. However, if you are also one of the statistics worshipers, you might accept another truth: the core of management is often what the statistics can not tell.
