【Abstract】 Germany is a stronghold of the rationalistic design. Especially the spring-up of the modernistic design once made Germany the center of the world design. The study based on the mainly representative aspect from the development process of German Design; discuss the point worthy of studying lessons from German design. Based on the golden rule of rationalism of German Design, It raised the point of view that the developing rule of design is the ebbing and flowing of Functionalism and Formalism encircling the axis of“ based on the people and serving the people”, Today German design is still one of the major designing cultures of the world and it has greatly influenced the present designing ideas.更多还原
