【Abstract】 In the late Qing Dynasty and the early period of the Republic of China,the consumption changes in Kunming City(provincial capital) were revealed in two stages with their own traits.The first stage was between 1889 when Mengzi set up its trading port to 1910 when the Dian-Vietnam Railroad went into operation.This period saw more willingness in consumption and its Westernization orientation at a higher level.The second stage was from 1910 to the early period of the Republic of China,during which Kunming took the lead in consumption in Yunnan Province because the changes of the city promoted the business development and a higher consumption level.更多还原
