【Abstract】 An extension of performance evaluation for Renew,the Reference nets Workshop,is made by taking advantage of the timed property of Renew and the event response mechanism of Reference nets places. Concepts of the observable property and the monitor point of timed tokens are presented. Semantics and functionalities related to management of performance evaluation are supplied,including politic firing choosing,XML based tasks management,statistical variables,performance reports,simulator GUIs. The design pattern of system performance modeling in Renew is discussed. A case study of performance evaluation on a multi-threading server is made in the extended Renew system.更多还原
